Ethics, Morality and Poetry

First day of a dreaded couple of weeks. I have to say it did not go as bad as I thought it would. I had a bit more than four hours of sleep last night, but thanks to my brother, I did not go to bed until I had a clear idea about what my speech would be about. It is in regards to ethics and morality in photojournalism in particular. I spent most of my morning going through books about the matter and did not write my very slobby outline for my course until an hour before it was due. I have to go see my professor tomorrow so we can work on making it better or something. She wanted me to switch with someone so I won’t be going until Friday, I guess that’s a good thing.

In Creative Writing, we analyzed a poem named Parsley about the Parsley Massacre in the Dominican Republic in 1937. We then moved on to write six lines of poetry. I am trying not to freak out, for some reason writing poetry is extremely intimidating as I stated yesterday.

Right now, I am really just procrastinating. I don’t feel like doing anything so I’m sitting in the library writing this blog post while looking for a nice mix to listen to. If you happen to have any song or playlist suggestions please don’t hesitate in sharing them. I need new stuff in my music library!!

Also, today the weather was sunny and breezy. I did not complain too much and I have to admit I have missed wearing my leather jacket. But now it’s night time and freezing outside. Maybe tomorrow?
